Here at Sugar Lumps Creative Studio your safety is our priority. We have a professional standard clean routine between each session whereby all equipment used is cleaned and sanitised and all our staff have been trained in the current COVID 19 WORKPLACE SAFETY PROCEDURES,

Additional session rules and regulations in response to Covid-19

These additional session rules and regulations have been put in place to maximise the safety of you and your child when attending our studio. We fully understand that you and your child are adjusting to a new way of life, just as we are too . . . so please, read this information very carefully and abide by our new rules to ensure that all of our little ‘Sugar Lumps’ can still enjoy their session or activity in the safest way possible.

We ask that you please:

  • Book all sessions in advance with full payment. Please understand that we have had to make changes to our timetable and sessions. Walk-ins will not be accepted.

  • Travel to your session using your own car or walking where possible. Only use public transport if it is necessary and continue to follow government guidelines on face coverings when travelling to our sessions.

  • Arrive no earlier than your session time. There is no available space for you to wait beforehand.

  • Use the hand sanitising facilities provided on entry/ exit.

  • Sign in on entry to enable us to operate a successful track and trace system.

  • Bring your child dressed and ready for their session (including clothes that you don’t mind being spoilt).

  • Limit the number of items you bring to a session ie one bag per person. Where possible, please leave all other items including bags, at home or in the car etc.

  • Due to restrictions on space, we will not be allowing any pushchairs, prams or similar items into the studio during sessions. Please carry your baby into the studio with a car seat, baby carrier or in your arms.

  • Understand that it is strictly one adult per child maximum at all sessions. No additional adult places are available.

  • Keep a safe social distance from your session leader and other customers where possible. We understand this may be hard for children to understand, however, to minimise any potential risk, we ask that you encourage your child to stay at their table/mat or close to you.

  • Leave the session promptly. Please understand that we must prepare for the next session and respect that our staff are working hard to do this.

  • Ensure that all belongings, including children’s creations, are taken with you when you exit the studio. We have no available space to store items.

  • Contact Sugar Lumps immediately if you, your child or someone you/they live with tests positive for Covid 19 within 14 days of visiting the studio.
